This oft-misunderstood phrase, which forms the basis for Crowley's practice of Magick, is found in The Book of the Law. Dictated to Crowley in Cairo between noon and 1 pm on three success days in April , the Book of the Law is the source book and key for Crowley students and for the occult in general/5.   The guitarist eventually sold the house and opened a bookstore in London called Equinox, named after Crowley’s book series (an attempt at a literary journal for the occult set). If you like the idea of listening to a 15 hour and 29 minute narrative poem, with another poem inside it, then you might well like this book. Crowley narrates the book himself, in a flat middle-American voice, with a quirky, slightly self-conscious manner. The narration worked for me.
